She has edited her earlier entries too. I believe the initial bashing one was edited within hours of posting, as she calmed down, before anyone realized to save it. It was apparently even more vitriolic than the famous one, but this is just hearsay. But one thing that is clear now is that Momoi has been praising AX more than enough to make up for that entry. Perhaps she is trying her best to maintain good relations. A sign that she is definitely willing to come back?
I would hope so, because her concert really changed my life. Even though there were problems, it was one of the best days of my life. I don't feel I'm exaggerating.
Does anyone have larger scans of Momoi's Cover Best album? I've been looking for them for a while now. :D

I was really jealous of the Komugi shirt PantsGoblin found in the AX dealer's room, but I'm having no luck finding it or anything similar on the net. Anyone know of any sites with Komugi and/or Momoi shirts? Or any other cute/moe shirts for that matter. Guess I've really been in the mood to wear embarrassing shirts lately lol.
The guy I bought it from said all the T-shirts at the stand were designed by some doujinshi artist... I don't remember the name... Sorry. If I can look more into it I'll probably be able to find something.

I was finally able to figure out what stand sold those T-shirts at the Expo. Was apparently Doujin-Online.

These are the names of the only UNDER17 songs I need the Kanji to. So I ask you all this: could someone, anyone, please give me the Kanji to any of these songs if you have it? Even if it's just a scan of the lyrics sheet or a picture, I don't care. I use the Kanji so I can transliterate them to sing along. I'd be more than willing to try and do something in return. What do you all think of the new album then? A vast improvement on "quality" I reckon. I love it. I wasn't too sure about quality's more subdued songs but it sounds a lot better after hearing this album, maybe there weren't enough hyper songs on that album and I was getting worried. Glad to have our momoi back from the brinks of professional ballad pop :D
I really like listening to it, and the songs are catchy. I can't really judge the new album in terms of her direction though since it's really just the latest singles and a bunch of old classic Momoi songs that got remixed. 8bit and Koi no Meiousei is a good sign though that she is heading back to her traditional base of cute songs. I dont' think quality is much to worry about though. I happened to like it. My analysis is that it seems to be an inspired attempt to try something different to establish her new image and throw off her UNDER17 mold for a while, in part to prove herself as a musician and not just half of a moe group. I think now that she has earned so much credit as a solo artist, and maintained good business relations with most of her old sponsors, she can go back to her cute songs without saying "I am only able to do this as an extension of my past career." It's a statement that she's not washed up, so she overcompensated a little as a semi diva. In the end, I don't think she can resist being an idol, and when the fans demand cute she will provide.
Source may be another factor too. I am convinced Momoi has a sense for addictive music. Her best work has been when she is writing for erogames, companies, and TV shows. Popotan, DearS, Kujian, even Tsukune-chan! And when she was commissioned by Toranoana, she put out amazing songs like Koko dayo, and Enter! Enter was basically so awesome it blew my shirt off when I heard it. It seems her talent is very driven by how much exposure she expects those songs to get. Write to your anime producers and erogame companies and demand Momoi OP/ED songs! The rule for erogames is the more disgusting and socially taboo the better. Maybe she feels the need to overdo the cuteness to balance out how morally outrageous the content is.
I liked it! But as far as the remakes, Gura Gura is the only one I really loved. The originals of Mail Me and Space Love were waaaay better. Of course all the other ones from the singles were good. Akihabarhapsody was really... different.
My favorite tracks are Koi no Meiousei, Saigo no Rock and Yume no Baton. But I like the rest too. Akihabara Rhapsody is truly strange but it's not as bad that I would want to skip it. But I also listen to old anison stuff, so I'm propably just used to that sound.^^
