Haruko Up Date Fansubs

Is there a fansub group that is already planning to work on this?

I propably won't be able to convince our translator because he's going to be involved in some full frontal RL stuff at that time. I'd be willing to help other groups if they want help. As long as it's not Karaoke. Worst spent time I can imagine.

I highly doubt it. I can inquire about it to my fansubbing group like friends, but none of them are particularly interested in Momoi, so I doubt they'd take it up.

Well I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was thinking about subbing this a few weeks IF nobody else subs it by the time my DVD on slow shipping arrives. It seems like I may have to follow through with my plan. So far my schedule looks pretty good so I think I might actually get this done.

You know Japanese?

Enough to watch and understand most raw anime, although I'm not sure on how accurate my translation of this drama will be since the trailer doesn't have that much talking to judge the difficulty. I do have a friend who is willing to help me with some trickier parts in case I run into trouble though. It's basically for my own learning benefit, but at the same time I'll hopefully produce something other english speaking fans can find useful.

Either no group has taken up fansubbing or they are keeping it secret. ._.
Paranda, how did you fare with the first episode? I believe the "inbetween-scenes" were quite difficult to follow. At least I was quite lost there. Would have been nice to know what they were talking about.
My offer for help still stands, I would very much like to see Haruko Up-Date subbed.

Progress has been slow since I was unexpectedly out of the country for a while - I've really only just started. Based on watching though, drama parts are pretty easy to understand so I should be able to make up for lost time quickly. I agree the cafe conversation scenes were a bit harder to follow though, especially as there was no context for the discussion. What it really needs is Japanese subtitles so I can confirm if what I heard is actually what was said. I'm thinking about taking those parts out for the current release since it's really not relevant to the drama plot, though I might merge it with the "cafe" extras scene and put it out as a separate thing later if I have a lot of time to burn.

Oh, and any help is welcome. paranda at gee mail dott com

Is this still going on? I'd really like to see it too.

Don't think it's gonna happen.
